Akarua Rosé has a Pale Pink with clear hues. Brightly aromatic with cherry blossom, rose petal, perfume, pear, peach, and strawberry. A rich entry with vivid fruits of ripe stone fruit, strawberry, raspberry, nougat, biscuit, and lime. The palate is dry, medium bodied with vibrant acidity, lovely concentration, and weight. The wine finishes long with a touch of cranberry.

A rather lovely wine, blending old-vine Grenache and Cinsault, with a little Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, grown at 350-metres altitude. Individual parcels of Tempranillo and Merlot, grown in Craggy Range's Hawke's Bay Vineyards are carefully selected for balanced flavour and freshness. Harvested, then gently pressed for careful colour and flavour extraction. Brilliant blush rose in colour. Lifted juniper and rosewater perfume with underlying crushed wild berry fragrance. The palate has a textural succulence of raspberry and pomegranate fruits, finely balanced with a savoury phenolic line. Delicious.
