Penkridge Farm lies between the spectacular Pisa Range and Lake Dunstan in the heart of Central Otago. Vintage 2023 delivered a beautiful, high-quality crop from 10/5 and Abel clones. Winemaker Matt has crafted a classically elegant, approachable Pinot Noir with lifted aromas of dark cherry and ripe plum. The palate is medium-bodied with a soft, juicy texture and a finely balanced, food-friendly finish.

A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon parcels sourced from vineyards throughout the Barossa. The fruit is fermented for up to 14 days, then aged for 12 months in a mix of French and American oak. Individual parcels of fruit are matured separately to maximise the blend's complexity and finalised through a selection process. The resulting wine is rich and concentrated with aromas of ripe dark berry fruits, blackcurrants and plums with mint and varietal leafy notes. The palate is plush with flavours balanced by fine, textural tannins.

Crafted with passion and precision, Pepperjack Malbec showcases fruit sourced from the heart of Mendoza, Argentina - sourced by winemaker Richard Mattner to ensure the signature Pepperjack style and quality. In the glass, it reveals a deep, dense black core with a vibrant red hue. Aromas of violets, spice, ripe blueberries, and boysenberry are layered with hints of mocha oak. The palate is rich, round, and textural, delivering juicy flavours of ripe raspberries, satsuma plums, and red currants, supported by fine cocoa-powder tannins for a soft, mouth-filling finish.

A tribute to the Barossa's winemaking heritage, Pepperjack is crafted using a blend of traditional techniques and modern flair. Winemaker Richard Mattner - a born-and-bred Barossa local - loves making Pepperjack wines as much as he loves drinking them, especially alongside a great steak. As he says: "Why would I need anything else?" Deep dark red with a vibrant purple rim, the nose bursts with rich aromas of blackberry, blueberry, dark chocolate, mocha, and spice. Bright intense red with purple hues. Blueberries, also classic Malbec mulberry, red cherries and notes of cedar; cocoa and wafts of violets. At first this Malbec is Intense, juicy and super youthful 'grapeiness' again lots of blueberries. Almost overwhelming. The Middle Palate is generous and quite sensual it is structured despite the lashings of fresh fruit Really rich and lush. The after palate is flavoursome, rich sweet berry fruits and Damson plum is on top of rolling red fruits and Blueberry pie! The finish is lush and mouth filling with a glycerol sweetness balanced by gentle tannins and a soft fresh acidity. Along with barbecues, Malbec's team a treat with bold summery dishes. As they're by no means shrinking violets in the flavour department, a chilled bottle will go beautifully with beef fajitas or big-flavoured salads.

Land that was once a high country sheep station is now a flourishing vineyard. Sheep and rabbits co-existed on the land for quite some time but the sheep couldn't keep up with the nocturnal activity of the rabbits, and in the end were driven off the land. Rabbits now run free on the vineyard and fuelled by high altitude Pinot Noir, some are reputed to be the size of ponies, but that's another story... The Rabbit Ranch Pinot Noir is made in a very soft, fruit forward, low tannin style - a wine to be savoured and supped, rather than an assault on the senses.
