The Private Bin series has been inspired by the McGuigan family tradition to always share a special family wine with their guest. This Shiraz features delightful dark cherry and plum aromas integrated with some smoky vanillin characters and cinnamon from the oak. The wine has a good mouth feel with both cherry and plum flavours with a peppery spice.

The Medici Lambrusco colour is intense ruby red. The bouquet is fruity and persistent with violet scent leading to sweet, fruity, fresh, lively and pleasantly harmonious. The froth is fine and rich when poured.

Mollydooker The Scooter Merlot is fragrant and silky smooth, enticing with a nose full of cherries and forest fruits. The first sip reveals fresh plum and sweet berries, followed by a gentle hint of nutmeg and cinnamon spice. Finely balanced with delicate tannins, it offers a refined complexity that makes this Merlot a true pleasure to enjoy.

Mt Difficulty is a boutique winery located in Bannockburn, Central Otago, and was named after the mountain overlooking Felton road and the southern Cromwell basin. As the vineyards are ageing Mt Difficulty are starting to see additional complexity emerging each vintage. Inviting and opulent, the palate is flush with sweet cherry & blueberry, followed by trademark earth & savoury notes and framed by baking spice and fine grained French Oak. The fruit floods through to the finish with a juicy balance, indicating acidity that will keep the wine aging well.

The grapes for Roaring Meg come from Mt Difficulty's Cromwell basin vineyards managed by their dedicated viticultural team. The addition of fruit from their Bendigo vineyard has lends a powerful, darker edge. Roaring Meg Pinot Noir features red, blue and black berry fruit aromatics. The palate is harmonious with rich dark berries and a savoury line underneath. A hint of spice and dried thyme complement the succulent fruit. Fine silky tannins frame the wine with a great flow and finish.

Classic Merlot aromas of decadent plum and dark cherry are complemented by hints of spiced fruit cake and mocha. The palate is medium-bodied and full of blackcurrant, liquorice and dried herb, supported by fine tannins for a soft, concentrated finish. Sourced from carefully selected vineyards in the Hawke's Bay, the oldest wine region in New Zealand.

A beautifully perfumed nose packed with wild red and black berry fruits, toasted brown cooking spices and lifted floral notes, layered over a subtle earthy background. The palate is juicy and lively up front, brimming with red cherry, plum, lightly roasted coffee beans and just a hint of sweet baking spice. A streak of fine acidity brightens the mid palate, blending seamlessly with fine powdery tannins to lift the palate towards a satisfying elegant finish.

The Nautilus Pinot Noir is dark ruby in colour. The complex nose displays floral characters; violets and rose petals, sweet dark cherry, plums, earthy notes and a touch of toasty spice. The palate is concentrated and elegant with a fine dense core of tannins and a long savoury finish.

Red Blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc. Bright redcurrant and dark plum aromas with hints of star anise, cedar, and subtle spice. The palate is layered with red fruit, dried herbs, and bay leaf, supported by fine tannins and a long, structured finish. Oak is well integrated, adding gentle spice and balance.

A perfumed nose of ripe blueberry, blackberry, and violet is layered with white pepper, savoury cured meat, exotic spice, clove, and hints of bouquet garni. The palate is elegant and plush, with satin-textured tannins carrying vibrant black cherry and blackberry flavours. Subtle notes of five spice and white pepper add depth, leading to a long, lingering black cherry finish.
