This wine is bottled in a lightened bottle with 75% recycled glass and the bottle is 100% recyclable in its entirety. Fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures, this organic wine is also certified vegan. Very fragrant mouth, with good structure and a fresh and fruity finish. The nose is flooded with signature Tempranillo red fruit, plums and blackberries, further enhanced with strawberries and delicate herbal notes contributed by the Garnacha. Sangiovese 85%, Merlot 10% and other red grapes 5%. Red in colour, with rich chromatic nuances and a distinctly fruity bouquet where the cherry tone is mitigated by a hint of vanilla and cinnamon. The flavour reflects the spicy undertone of the aroma and is balanced by a fine tannic note. The wine is refined by placing it in French oak casks for 10 months.

A medium bodied red wine, silky texture and fine tannins. The palate is full of red fruits, plum and black cherry.

The harvest from these parcels is always carried out later because of the dominant varieties, Cabernet Franc & Cabernet Sauvignon. Château de Pez is one of the oldest properties in Bordeaux's Left Bank and consists of 118 continuous acres with 103 acres planted to prime grape varieties, mainly Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Thanks to the quality of its production, Château de Pez is counted among the most highly reputed crus of the Médoc and was reclassified as a Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel in 2003. Elegant and modern, Pez 2nd is produced sustainably from the young vines of Château de Pez. Fresh, rich and well-balanced on the palate with a precise finish underpinned by delicious tannins.

In 1815, Guillaume Lawton said of Château Lafite, 'I consider it to be the the most elegant and delicate, with the finest substance of the three (Premier Crus). The location of its vines is one of the finest in the Médoc'.
