Made in extremely small quantities, this Cabernet Franc is a reflection of the unique terroir of Te Kano's Central Otago, Northburn site. Blackcurrant, blueberry, and licorice aromas leap from the glass, followed by raspberry and spice. Fresh, crunchy tannins and lively acidity entwine around a core of fresh vibrant fruit. Uniquely grown in the southernmost wine-growing region in the world and made without added sulphur.

First made in 1982, Awatea continues to represent the best of the classic Hawke's Bay Cabernets/Merlot blend. Floral aromas with intense blackberry, currant and dark plum flavours lead to a rich, supple palate with a sustained finish. Awatea will continue to evolve in bottle for ten years from harvest.

Bullnose is a dark ruby colour with aromas and fl avours of violets, black cherry liqueur and spice, intermingled with notes of prune and raspberry. The rich, full flavoured palate displays velvety, even tannins.

The palate precisely balances richness with vibrant energy; modern and varietally expressive, with cassis, raspberry, mocha, spice, and a distinctive minerality that is uniquely 2021. The fruit ripeness is so succulent, it cloaks those profound, chiselled tannins that carry the palate on endlessly. With perfume, power, finesse, and length this is an absolute original. Coleraine '21 is 'The One'.

Sourced exclusively from Te Mata Estate's own vineyards. This Estate Vineyards Chardonnay was harvested from Bridge Pa Triangle, Woodthorpe Terraces and Havelock Hills vineyards. White gold in the glass, immediate refreshing appeal of ripe nectarine and lemon sorbet edged with sea-salt, roast almond and a hint of smoke from French oak. Delicious on its own, or a wonderful partner for both simply prepared and fuller flavoured seafood and white meat dishes.
