This Banks Peninsula field blend brings together Pinot Blanc from Bentwood Vineyard and Pinot Gris from neighbouring Cross Hares Vineyard, picked together on the same day. Certified organic, the fruit is given two distinct fermentation approaches: one barrel spends three months on whole bunches with direct-pressed juice in amphora, while the other two undergo a 10-day layered ferment with minimal pump overs. All three are then pressed to mature in old oak, bringing the two vineyards together in a wine shaped by place, time and gentle handling.
