In deepest rural Ireland, on the edge of a lake in Drumshanbo, Co Leitrim, is home of The Shed Distillery and PJ Rigney. PJ created The Shed Distillery with its medieval copper pot stills and began a quest to fuse oriental botanicals with the local Irish ones. As it turned out, they got on very well indeed. The result of this passionate exploration is Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin - unique, extraordinary, and remarkable, all bottled and labelled by local hands at the distillery.

Micro-distilled in small batch copper-pot stills, Empress 1908 is hand-crafted using eight signature botanicals: tea, juniper, rose, coriander seed, grapefruit peel, ginger root, cinnamon bark, and butterfly pea blossom. It's the pea blossom, which we discovered in one of the Empress tea blends, that imbues the gin with a distinctive earthy note. The distinct flavour and colour of Empress 1908 comes from the infusion of tea botanicals. No artificial colours or stabilisers are used in its creation - so while the flavour will last forever, its unique indigo hue will not. Fading of the natural colour is accelerated by exposure to sunlight. We recommend that you experience each bottle within a year of purchase and store in a cool, dark place. Fords Gin is a collaboration between 8th generation Master Distiller Charles Maxwell of Thames Distillers and Simon Ford of The 86 Company. A modern take on a classic London Dry Gin, Fords starts with a traditional base of juniper and coriander seed and is balanced by citrus, florals and spices that are steeped for 15 hours before being distilled. Each botanical blends together to create the perfect, versatile base for any gin-inspired cocktail.

In 2015 Four Pillars combined their Rare Dry Gin with some of the best Shiraz grapes in Australia to create the Bloody Shiraz Gin for the first time. And now each year they steep Yarra Valley Shiraz grapes in gin, and after eight weeks they press the fruit before blending with more Rare Dry Gin.

It's spicy but with great citrus, a truly modern Australian gin. Four Pillars Rare Dry Gin captures the essence of contemporary Australia's heritage in Europe and Asia. We're using whole oranges which is unusual but Australian citrus is highly aromatic and supports the spicier botanicals like cardamom. The cinnamon and star anise add rich fruitcake tones, the Tasmanian pepperberry leaf provides warmth rather than heat, and the lemon myrtle is a beautiful alternative to lemon peel.

Sherry Cask Gin is rich and layered with fruit and nut flavours. The Sherry cask solera is made up of 42 casks, some from Spain and some from Australian Apera (fortified wine). The colour has deepened as the casks age and residual sherry characters are underpinned by pine oil notes. The gin finishes with a subtle sweetness from the tweak of Amontillado Sherry we add at bottling.

This Saffron Gin comes from a recipe rediscovered in the Boudier archives. Saffron Gin is the result of an alliance between Great Britain for its London Dry Gin, India for its spice used extensively in cooking and in religious ceremonies, and French know-how developed by Gabriel Boudier. This original product with exotic notes is manufactured entirely at Dijon and is used in numerous cocktails, the most famous being Saffron gin and tonic.

Gin Mare is made using traditional techniques from the Mediterranean, through a delicate maceration and independent distillation which expresses all the characteristics of each botanical in the final product.
